Members of the public have said the Twin Cities region needs a connected transit system - both to and from downtown areas and across town between communities. a

I'll see your Twin Cities comprehensive transit system and raise you a state-wide comprehensive transit system. Connecting cities throughout the state with fast and efficient commuter rail would go a long way toward ensuring sustainable growth and effective regional economic development, roads would take less of a beating, and small rural communities would have greater access to enhanced urban amenities.

NOrthtstar rail is a good example of how transit does not work to suburbanites where densities are low and built for cars ,the services are limited .Sharing the tracks with freight train is not a
Park/Ride are costly and not good landuse unless they share with businesses like the shopping centers ,movie theatres, church parking lots

Increase the density in all the cities so transit can work better and be cost effective.All successful transit are near high desnity areas.

The BRT cannot support 15mins services L/ville & MOA off peak The all express on 35W had to reduce to 30mins with higher densities.
SW LRT routing is a poor choice also via Uptown could have get high ridership .Trasnit works well when it near high desnities areas with jobs/housings retail etc.Easy access to highwways with limited congestion and free and cheap parking does not work well for transit.People get subsidy to drive and park with tax break.
